When globalisation meets tradition... Is it a surprise? Coca-Cola has obviously reached the pious Muslim city of Harar, located in eastern Ethiopia. All those who used to travel know very well that the last sign of "civilization" to be expected, even in the middle of nowhere, is the Coca-Cola advertisement. Note the Amharic spelling of Coca-Cola !

As I am moving in a new apartment this week end, I will have no access to Internet for few days and will therefore not be able to reply to your comments. However, photographs will still be posted everydays. I will try to catch up with you once I am back on the World Wide Web. See you soon!
