What the hell is it written?!

Posted by Jeremie (Brooklyn, New York, United States) on 16 May 2008 in Lifestyle & Culture and Portfolio.

7 a.m., Timkat (Epiphany), the holiest celebration of the Ethiopian orthodox calendar. Wandering around people in deep meditation, my eyes grasped the view of this lady reading the Bible written in Amharic. Due to a quite poor morning light, I switched my D200 to the B&W mode. I admit it would have been better to switch to B&W in post-treatment, but what the hell, amateur's mistakes happen!

As I am moving in a new apartment this week end, I will have no access to Internet for few days and will therefore not be able to reply to your comments. However, photographs will still be posted everydays. I will try to catch up with you once I am back on the World Wide Web. See you soon!
