Desert of Salt

Posted by Jeremie (Brooklyn, New York, United States) on 18 May 2008 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

The salty surface of the Danakil desert in the north of Afar region of Ethiopia, close to the Eritrean border. A depression going down to 120 metres below sealevel, reputed as one of the hotest and most inhospitable place on earth.

As I am moving in a new apartment this week end, I will have no access to Internet for few days and will therefore not be able to reply to your comments. However, photographs will still be posted everydays. I will try to catch up with you once I am back on the World Wide Web. See you soon!
