Grazing lands

Posted by Jeremie (Brooklyn, New York, United States) on 22 July 2008 in Landscape & Rural.

Cows grazing on the high-altitude Saneti plateau. The plateau, located in the Bale region (south-east) is one of the highest part of Ethiopia, spreading above 4000 metres. It is famous for fostering some of the last specimens of the Abyssinian wolf, an endangered specy also known as Red Fox.
