Pachyderm Bath

Posted by Jeremie (Brooklyn, New York, United States) on 6 September 2008 in Animal & Insect.

At fixed hours, elephants living in the Hiriwadunna orphanage are brought to the bath in the nearby river. I hesitated quite some time to post this photograph on line as it is, unfortunately, out of focus. Yet, I like the frame and composition, and the story it counts... One of an old black elephant who, you could see, is close to the end...

As I am moving in a new apartment this week end, I will have no access to Internet for few days and will therefore not be able to reply to your comments. However, photographs will still be posted everydays. I will try to catch up with you once I am back on the World Wide Web. See you soon!
