A peer to paradisePosted by Jeremie (Brooklyn, New York, United States) on 10 November 2008 in Landscape & Rural. The evocative peer of the Chayaa Resort on Hakuraa Island, the Maldives. After 45 minutes of flight in a sea-plane from Malé, the guest disembarks from the plane on a kind of raft in the middle of the lagoon. The hotel's boat arrives few minutes later to take him to the end of the peer, from where he walks down the 500-meters long path surrounded by baby black-tipped sharks and sting-rays roaming in the lagoon...
