A peer to paradisePosted by Jeremie (Brooklyn, New York, United States) on 10 November 2008 in Landscape & Rural. The evocative peer of the Chayaa Resort on Hakuraa Island, the Maldives. After 45 minutes of flight in a sea-plane from Malé, the guest disembarks from the plane on a kind of raft in the middle of the lagoon. The hotel's boat arrives few minutes later to take him to the end of the peer, from where he walks down the 500-meters long path surrounded by baby black-tipped sharks and sting-rays roaming in the lagoon... Not too bad for a first contact! As I am moving in a new apartment this week end, I will have no access to Internet for few days and will therefore not be able to reply to your comments. However, photographs will still be posted everydays. I will try to catch up with you once I am back on the World Wide Web. See you soon!
